Anatoly Rudakov at CICA New Media Art Conference 2017 August 3-6, 2017

Anatoly Rudakov at CICA New Media Art Conference 2017 August 3-6, 2017

Started from the sculptor Czong Ho Kim’s studio in 1994, Czong Institute for Contemporary Art (CICA) became a unique cultural space founded and cultivated by him. Not only CICA fosters projects of experimental artists, we are open for everyone to learn about Contemporary Art and apply it to one’s life. We aim to provide a creative, yet comfortable space for artists and the community to nurture their creative and critical thinking with visual culture while they communicate with each other.

CICA Museum have featured numerous new media artists in international exhibition series and publications. Through CICA NMA Conference, we aim to celebrate new media art & culture, and share creativity and techno-cultural innovations with writers, scholars, artists, and local/international communities. We invite new media artists, scholars, and art-lovers worldwide to participate in our first international Conference on New Media Art. We look forward to sharing fun, exciting, and inspiring experience with you!

ETERNAL LONDON - living organism

GABRIEL FINE ART LONDON

presents

Group exhibition

Eternal London - living organism

19th - 24th APRIL 2016

Open: 10am - 10pm

 Tabernacle W11, Notting Hill, London

"A Foggy Day in London Town' was the 1937 song written by George Gershwin. When visitors arrive in London they still expect to experience the fog, see the Queen, visit the Tower and drink warm beer. Of course you can still find these, but modern London, is not just a historical theme park. The city of over 100 languages, changes and evolves all the time. The kaleidoscope of culture, history and tradition is always shifting and reforming. London is a city of distinctive areas and villages, which you may only discover...if you get lost, without a map. You may even encounter an artist if you are lucky. Artists work within this maze, fending off the corporate world that devours everything in it's path. The new glass temples of commerce, constantly under construction, disguise the fact there is a huge diverse, creative organism existing just under the radar.. " (Richard Walker)

AMNESIA - Group Exhibition at the Fata Morgana Gallery

Fata Morgana Gallery

Vernissage: October 29th; 6-9 pm

October 29th-November 1st

The Fata Morgana Gallery presents the group show “Amnesia!”. An exploration of ever-shifting relationship with identity and individuality.  Who are we?  What impacts our ideas of self?  A series of photographs, paintings, prints and new media work create a diorama-like atmosphere from which to observe these always living and shifting notions, occasionally crystalizing into solid form.

Fata Morgana is itself a temporary art space comprised of a loose group of artists and art professionals presenting a vast array of work; different media, different styles, short shows.  Fata Morgana is an example of a large and complex identity.  The concept behind “Amnesia!” rests within the concept for the space, which further exists in East Berlin, an area constantly encountering its own identity issues.

Work by:
Daniela Imhoff, Sandra Ratkovic, Anatoly Rudakov, Roland Moreau, Dolly Demoratti, Drew Simpson & Glowing Bulbs.
